Mayor, City of Menlo Park
Kirsten Keith serves as the Mayor of Menlo Park, bringing extensive experience in public service and community advocacy. Before her election to the city council, she contributed to Menlo Park through her roles on the Community Mediation Services Committee, Housing Commission, and Planning Commission.
Beyond her municipal service, Kirsten dedicated eight years to the San Mateo County Commission on the Status of Women, where she worked to address critical issues affecting women in the community. She continues her advocacy work as a member of the Advisory Board of CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse) and serves as a Technical Advisory Committee Member for JobTrain, an organization supporting workforce development.
Kirsten's commitment to community service extends to her role on the Finance Committee for the Service League of San Mateo County and her involvement with the San Mateo County Legal Aid Luncheon Committee.
Kirsten holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Golden Gate University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her legal and political expertise underpins her dedication to improving her community and advocating for meaningful change.
